Stack Details
There are 3 options for the chimney stack:

675mm Rendered Block
675mm Rendered Block or Brick stack This diagram shows a brick stack. The cut out exposes the expansion plate under the coping and the chimney tray. Chimneys are always recommended in the construction of chimneys and can be provided as accessory with the chimney system or added separately. At roof level the chimney stack should be flashed according to current building standards.
400mm Rendered Stack
When the chimney block is to be used to form a chimney stack 400mm square the chimney block must be rendered.
To adequately waterproof the block either
- a scratch coat and a covering coat of render or
- a manufacturer’s guaranteed waterproof plaster
should be applied.

Pre-fabricated fibre cement stack
The prefabricated stack eliminates the need to render the chimney block or build a chimney stack. The fibre cement stack is simply sleeved over the chimney block to form a water tight and attractive stack. Back to top
