Offsets and bends can be achieved using purpose-made offset blocks. These blocks do not have a separate flue block. To maintain the correct matching of the joints the last flue block immediately below the first offset block should be trimmed to bring it to the same height as the top of the outer casing. Above the last offset block a starter flue block must be used. All offset blocks must be fully supported.
